Obituary	Mrs. Georgia E. Wheeler Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia E. Wheeler were held at the home of her niece, Mrs. Clarence H. Crosby, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, o'clock with the Rev. Gordon C. Reardon, pastor of the First Universalist church officiating. The bearers were Millard G. Otto, Clarence H. Crosby, Knight Otto, Charles Crosby, of this town, Arthur Knight of Garland and Guy DeMerritt of Bangor. Burial will be in the family lot in Garland in the spring. Out of town relatives attending the services were, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald S. Wheeler of Laconia, Mrs. Wayne Shipman of Machias, Miss Josephine Otto of Orono, Charles Crosby of Brunswick, Mrs. Ernest Woodcock, Mr. and Mrs. Guy DeMerritt, and Mrs. Winifred Thompson of Bangor, and Arthur Knight of Garland. Mrs. Wheeler was born in East Corinth February 22, 1875 the daughter of Hannial and Pamelia Ladd Knight. She was married to Silas N. Wheeler in 1900 and lived in West Leyden, Mass., moving to Bangor in 1904 where she made her home for many years. While in Bangor she was a faithful attendant and worker in the Hammond Street Congregational church and a valued member of the Charity Circle, Kings Daughters, and Home Culture Club. During the past few years she has spent much time in Dexter with her sister, Mrs. Charles Foss, and has won many friends by her kindly and genial manner. Mrs. Wheeler passed away Monday morning, after an illness of about two weeks, in Laconia, N. H., where she was spending the winter with her son, Gerald S. Wheeler. Surviving besides her son are a granddaughter, Miss Geraldine Wheeler of Laconia; a sister, Mrs. Charles Foss; two nieces, Mrs. Clarence Crosby and Mrs. Millard G. Otto of Dexter, and two cousins, Mrs. Ernest M. Woodcock of Bangor and Miss Daisy Skillin of Hallowell.
