Obituary	PATRICIA A. DAY DEXTER - Patricia Ann Day, 72, died from cancer June 13, 2002 at her Mill Street residence surrounded by her family. She was born March 20, 1930 at Dover, New Hampshire a daughter of Crosby and Leona (Deag) Knowles. She had retired from the Dexter Shoe Company. Pat will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was more concerned for the welfare of others than for herself, was strong willed and admired by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Jo Day of Dexter; four children, Steve Day and wife Cindy of Skowhegan, John Day And wife Jenny of Brunswick, Mary Willey and husband Charles "Chucle' of Dexter; Jane Huggins and husband James of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 8 grandchildren; 2 Great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Yvonne Hartford and husband Larry of Dexter, Phyllis Chambers and husband Kenneth of St. Albans, Joanne Day and husband Harry of Dexter, Ronnie Knowles of Milo, Reggie Knowles and wife Beatrice of Pittsfield, Barry Knowles and wife Gladys of Hermon. She was predeceased by brothers Norman and Arthur Knowles. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, June 16th, At Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A family viewing Will be held following the funeral services. Private burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
