Obituary	ROBERT J. Wilbur DEXTER - Robert J. Wilbur, 76, of Dexter, formerly of No. Middleboro, MA, died on November 5, 1998 at a Dover-Foxcroft Hospital, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Marjorie P. (Hortin) Wilbur of Dexter. He was born on June 25, 1922, in Lakeville, the son of the late Ernest E. and Florence M. (Wambolt) Wilbur. He was educated in the Lakeville school system. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II in the 15th Infantry taking part in the Sicilian Campaign. He had been a member of the Teamsters Local #653, having been a driver for Cushman Bakery and Ward (Tip Top)Bakery. He had been the proprietor of Wilbur's Auto Parts in North Middleboro for over 20 years. He has been retired for about 7 years, wintering in Silver Springs, Florida and summers in Dexter. He was a life member of the John Glass Post #2188, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Sukeforth Post #36 Disabled American Veterans both of Middleboro. Also a member of the A.A.R.P. Survivors include his wife, three sons Robert J. Wilbur, Jr. of Norton, Barry Wilbur of W. Bridgewater and James Wilbur of Middleboro; five daughters, Florrie Lawson and Donna Sheely both of Brockton, Patricia Haley of Buzzards Bay, Pamela Blais of Middleboro and Mary Ellen Embleton of Presque Isle, Maine; two brothers, Walter Wilbur of Plymouth and Wilfred "Buddy" Wilbur of Taunton; two sisters, Dorothy Pimental of Raynham and Mary "Eileen" Pacheco of Taunton; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleboro, on November 9. Burial was in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
