DAVID A. PAGE MOODY - David A. Page, 53, President and CEO of the Ocean National Bank, Kennebunk, a resident of Candlewood Lane, Moody died unexpectedly October 10, 1995 at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. He is the husband of Barbara Schade Page. Mr. Page was born in Dexter, March 21, 1942, a son of Almon and Mary Phyllis Dyer Page. He attended Dexter and South Portland Schools and graduated in 1965 from the University of Maine at Orono with his B.S. Degree in Accounting. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany as a Finance and personnel specialist in 1966 to 1968. In 1976 he graduated from the Northern New England School of Banking and in 1980 he graduated from Williams College School of Banking. He started his banking career with the Maine National Bank and served in several positions with Maine National including Vice President of Operations, Regional Vice President of York County, Ogunquit Branch Manager, charge of deposit operations, and supervised their Visa department and the Management Training Program. Since 1984 he has served Ocean National Bank as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Mr. Page was a member of several banking organizations and currently was serving as a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, A Director and a Past President of the Maine Bankers Association. A former member of the Government Relations Council of the American Bankers Association, a Past President of the Independent Community Bankers Association of Maine, a Past Trustee of the Independent Bankers Trust of Maine, and a Past Advisory Board Member Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). He served in many Civic organizations including the Kennebunk Rotary Club, a Trustee of the Trolley Museum, a Past Director of the Senior Citizen Center of Kennebunk, the Wells Chamber of Commerce, York County 2000, the Southern Maine Area Agency on Aging. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and gardening. Mr. Page is survived by his mother of Dexter, his wife of 28 years of Moody, one daughter, Mrs. Dean (Darcy) Ramsdell of Wells, one sister, Mary Kay Burgess of Dexter, one granddaughter, Gillen Page Ramsdell of Wells. Funeral services were held Friday, October 6, 1995, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Eldridge Road, Wells with the Rev. Father Paul Coughlin officiating.
