Obituary	JAMES H. CORBIN DEXTER - James Henry Corbin, 72, died unexpectedly February 5, 1993, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born July 19, 1920 at Van Buren, the son of Henry and Anna (Beaulieu) Corbin. He attended Van Buren schools, the Marist Juniorate in Sillery, Quebec, and LaSallette College in Hartford, CT. He served a six-month novitiate with the LaSallette Order in Bloomfield, CT. He then attended the National Youth Association School in Dexter, where he was employed prior to serving as clerical aide in the stockroom and engineering department of Fayscott Corporation. He retired in 1982. In September 1942 he married the former Leah Cloutier. He was a communicant of St. Annes Catholic Church, where he served on the parish council and was one of the first church lectors. He was a Past Grand Knight of Cardinal Mercier Council 2625, Knights of Columbus. He was a charter member of the Dexter Chapter of Columbian Squires, a former Knights of Columbus youth organization. He was also a charter member of the Dexter Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his wife Leah of Dexter, he is survived by three sons, Alan of Corinna, Kevin of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Jeffrey of East Hampton, CT; one daughter, Michele Pomroy of Dexter; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Ann, who died in 1948. A Knights of Columbus service was held February 9 at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 10 at St. Annes Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Joachim Thanh officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
