Obituary	FRANCES CHRISTINA SMALL EXETER - Frances Christina (Smith) Small, 72, died unexpectedly December 14, 1998 at her Airport Road residence. She was born September 6, 1926 at Dexter, the daughter of James and Nettie (Downs), Smith. She graduated from N.H. Fay High School in Dexter. She had been employed in several area mills and had been a past member of the Garland Grange. She is survived by her husband Llewellyn of Exeter; 6 sisters, Evelyn Reeks and Shirley Pooler, both of Dexter, Pauline Downs of East Dover, Gloria Haskell of Garland, Lorine Feliciani of Carmel and Carol Lane of Corinna; 6 brothers, Eugene, Russell and Robert Smith, all of Garland, John Smith of New Sharon, Donald Smith of Maianna, Florida and James Smith of Boston, MA. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Josephine Boutilier and Katherine Nichols; and a brother Harold SMith. At her request, there will be no visiting hours. A graveside committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 21, at the family lot, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Rev. Barry Buzzell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Ronald McDonald House, 654 State Street, Bangor. 04401. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
