Obituary	ROBERT C. THOMPSON DEXTER and MERIDEN, CT - Robert C. Thompson, 70, died September 30, 1996 at Veterans Memorial Medical Center in Meriden, CT. He was born August 10, 1926 at Machias the son of Reynold and Statira (Roberts) Thompson. He graduated from NH Fay High School, Class of 1944, and attended Husson College in Bangor. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed with the Veterans Administration in Maine, before he moved to Connecticut and worked for Pratt & Whitney. He is survived by one son, Robert Thompson Jr. of Meriden, CT, and one brother, Dean Thompson of Dexter. Funeral services were held October 4 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter, with Rev. David Rudolph officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
