Obituary	NEWTON C. HATHORN DEXTER & SANGERVILLE Newton Clarence Hathorn, 90, died September 1, 2001 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born February 22, 1911 at Dover the son of Edgar and Hattie (Fogg) Hathorn. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II, and was employed for 21 years at Fayscott in Dexter, retiring in 1973. He is survived by a son George Stephen Hathorn of Bucksport; 2 daughters, Joyce Ellis and husband Alan of Sangerville, and Faye Clements of Dexter; his only grandson, Stephen John Hathorn; 5 stepchildren, Robert and wife Charlotte Bingham of Winterport, Milton and wife Dolores Bingham of Dexter, and Edward Bingham of Burnham, Eva Ruth LeDuc of Bangor, Goldie Panzini and friend Dale Perigo of Parkman; 39 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle (Hill) Hathorn, brothers, John, Linwood, and Malcolm, and a sister Rowena. Graveside committal services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, September 8th, at West Garland Cemetery with the Rev. David Kelly officiating.
