Obituary	ALICE LAWSON DOVER-FOXCROFT & WELLESLEY MA - Alice E. Lawson, loving wife of John C.M. Lawson, died November 19, 1999 at a Dover-Foxcroft health care facility. She was born on Sept. 19, 1911 in New York City, NY the daughter of Thomas W. and Alice M. (Smith) Howe. She and her husband owned and operated the Needham Wellesley Dispatch Co. serving the greater Boston and Wellesley area. She was a member of the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church. She was pre-deceased by her mother and father. Her father, Thomas Howe was a golf pro and taught golf for many years at the Tatnic and Wellesley County clubs. She was also pre-deceased by her loving husband who died on March 30, 1999. She is survived by one son, John C.M. Lawson Jr. and his wife Sally Lawson of Dexter, one daughter, Alice Joan Janse and her husband Ted Janse of Natick MA, one brother, Charles Howe of Chelmsford MA, and one sister, Barbara Todesco of Wellesley, MA, six grandchildren and their families, Stephen, his wife Heidi and their children, Wendy and Kara of Dexter, Cynthia Lawson of Dexter, Lorraine, her husband William Inserra and their son Billy of Saratoga CA, Cheryl Janes of Portland, Linda Janse of Cambridge MA, Allison and her husband Rob Collins of Pompano Beach FL, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by one brother, Thomas Howe and one sister, Minnie Baboni. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 1999 at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alice may be made to, Children's Hospital, Mail Box 431,300, Longwood Ave., Boston MA 02115.
