Obituary	BETTY R. BARDSLEY DEXTER - Mrs. Betty R. Bardsley, 77, of Newburyport, Massachusetts died September 3 in the Anna Jackson Hospital in Newburyport. She was born in Dexter on May 10, 1922 the daughter of Cecli and Bertha Sites Williams. She graduated from N.H. Fay High School in Dexter and worked in a beauty shop before moving to the Saco area in 1948 where she was employed in the Saco Lowell Shops. In the middle 1950's she moved to Newburyport and worked for the Raython Corp. for 22 years. She retired in May of 1984. She did needle point as a hobby as well as reading. She was a life member of the Eastern Star, Annette chapter in Saco. And the Amaranth in South Portland. Her husband Elmer, died in 1984. She is survived by one sister Donna Knox of Newburyport. Visiting hours were held September 7at the Dennett Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main Street, Saco. A funeral service was held September 8 at the funeral home. Burial was in Laural Hill Cemetery, Saco.
