Obituary	WINNIEFRED E. McCOURT DEXTER - Winniefred E. McCourt, 80, died august 28, 1999 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born September 15, 1918, in Cambridge, daughter of George and Sadie (Dunn) Howell. She attended N.H. Fay High School in Dexter and worked for many years in the area woolen mills. She was a mamber of the United Methodist Church in Dexter, the WSCS, the Corinna Sunshine Club, the Extension and the Golden Age Club. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Stanton and Cindy McCourt and George and Priscilla McCourt all of Dexter; two daughters and their husbands, Evelyn and Rexford Turner Jr. of Guilford and Jane and Charles Merrill of Dover-Foxcroft; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Allen W. McCourt and a sister Gladys Butters. Friends called Monday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Lois Merrifield officiating. Burial was at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
