Obituary	HAROLD L. LIBBY DEXTER - Harold L. Libby Jr., 68, the husband of Marjorie Ruth (Williamson) Libby, died December 31, 1999 at his Cleveland Ave residence after a short illness. He was born February 3, 1931 in East Madison, the son of Harold and Eula Mae (O'Donal) Libby Sr. He was a twenty five year veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Germany, France, England, Korea, and Vietnam. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service while engaged in ground operations against an opposing force from May 31, 1970 to June 1, 1971. He retired in 1974 with the rank of E7 and was a member of the Poulliot-Seavey Post, American Legion of Dexter. He had been a seventeen year employee of Dexter Shoe Company where he worked as a shipping clerk. Harold loved to go deep sea fishing and to ice fish. Surviving in addition to his wife of Dexter are a son, Norman Harold Libby of Sumter, SC; three daughters, Norma Jean, Avery of Cayce, SC, Nancy Price and her husband, William of Dexter and Beverly Frost and her husband Stephen of Corinth; a step-daughter, Leslie Stull and her husband, Harold of Homestead, NY; a stepson, Charles Costa and his wife, Karen of Missouri; two brothers, Allan Libby and his wife, Marion of Milwaukee, WI, and Reverend Ronald E. Libby and his wife, Judy of Corinth; two sisters, Euleta Joyce Kimball and her husband, Harold of Parkman and Lois Dunfee and her husband, Dalton of Corinth; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends called at the Thompson Funeral Home in Corinth on Monday. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m Tuesday at the Charleston Pentecostal Church with Harold's brother, Reverend Ronald E. Libby officiating. Burial at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth.
