Obituary	MARION EVELYN HASELTINE RUMFORD - Mrs. Marion Evelyn Haseltine, 89, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000 at the Rumford Community Home. She has been a resident of the area the past 12 years and was formerly of Dexter. She was born in Lowell Mass, April 19, 1911, the daughter of Earle and Elsie (Feistal) Perkins, and was a high school graduate having attended schools in Sangerville. Mrs. Haseltine for many years did custodial work in the Dexter area including the Fayscotts Landis Machine Corp. and had also instructed dance. She was a member of the Dexter Women's Literary Club, the Civil Air Patrol, and a Past Matron of the Wassookeag Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She was married in Dexter in the early 1930's to the late Arthur H. Haseltine who died in 1972. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Sylvia M. Chenevert of Brunswick, Me.; a son Arthur Haseltine and his wife Beth of Roxbury, Me.; a sister Mrs. Dorothy Weidman of Tampa Fl.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
