Obituary	VERONICA RUTH PARSONS GARLAND - Veronica Ruth Parsons, 19, died July 14, 2000 at the Children's Hospital in Boston following a long illness. She was born September 29, 1980 in Bangor, daughter of Eugene and Bernadette (Dancer) Parsons. She attended Dexter High School and had been involved with the special Olympics for many years. She attended the Dexter Pentecostal Church for many years. She is survived by her parents of Garland; maternal grandfather Merle Dancer of Garland; maternal grandmother, Juanita Curtis of Garland; paternal grandmother, Ruth Melvin of Parkman; a brother, Matthew Parsons of Garland; 2 step sisters, Alanna of Saco and Janice of Dexter and a step brother, Christopher of Milo; several aunts and uncles. Friends called July 17 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services were held July 18 at the Dexter Pentecostal Church with Rev. Donald Maguire officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Garland.
