Obituary	HELEN (HAVEY) CLUKEY DEXTER, Helen (Havey) Clukey, 79, wife of Paul E. Clukey, died July 13, 2000 at a Bangor hospital after suffering a heart attack. She was born August 14, 1920, in Pittsfield, daughter of the late Jeanette Havey McCausland and Earle Havey. Helen's most treasured moments and memories were traveling and spending time with her husband, Paul. She loved playing bridge and thoroughly enjoyed her bridge friends, as well as her cribbage parties and friends. She and Paul received great pleasure from cruising around Lake Wassokeag on their pontoon boat and leading the annual 4th of July boat parade, which they started 14 years ago. She loved her home, her flowers, and most of all, she loved Paul and their combined families. In addition to her husband, Paul, she is survived by a sister, Barbara (Havey) Bauer of San Juan Capistrano, California; a son, Michael Herring of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Susan (Herring) Bogle of Dexter and Diane Herring of Hermon; a step daughter, Susan (Clukey) Haggerty of Winterport; a step daughter in-law, Merrill (Warren) Clukey of Garland; three grandchildren, Kimberly Bogle, Stephanie (Herring) Waite, and Shawn Herring; seven step grandchildren, Wendy Bonesteel, Brent Clukey, Dennis Haggerty, Patrick Haggerty, Sarah Haggerty, Michael Haggerty and Elizabeth Haggerty; five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arden Havey and Vincent Havey, and a stepson, Paul (Johnny) Clukey. She will be remembered by special friends, Sally Thompson, Betty Whitney, Geneva and Fred LaFountain, Bob and Bev Tillson, Bob and Jane Hoppe, George and Melba Warren, her 10:00 bakery friends, and so many others too numerous to mention. Friends called July 18 at the Crosby & Neal funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Memorial services were held July 19 at the funeral home with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
