Obituary	FLORENCE G. MACKINNON DEXTER - Florence G. MacKinnon, 77, died July 21, 2000 of cancer at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born January 16, 1923 in Brownville Jct. the daughter of Fred B. and Elizabeth (Steeves) Graves. Florence graduated from Brownville Jct. High School. She retired from Dexter Shoe after working 25 years in the payroll department. She was active in and a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Widows Group, Meals for Me, craftclub, retired seniors and a card group. Florence spent winters in Florida with her loving sister. Surviving are one son, James and his wife Cenise of South Portland, two daughters, Judith and her husband Larry Smith of Bangor, Kathryn and her husband William Jackson of Branford Conn; one sister, Olive Gallagher of Port Richey, Florida; one brother, Lloyd Graves of Brownville Jct.; five grandchildren, Jeff Robinson, Shawn Robinson, Michelle Poirier, Courtney MacKinnon, Marshall MacKinnon; five great grandchildren, Devyn, Bethany, Codey, Marissa Robinson, Connor Poirier; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; her parents, four sisters and three brothers. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2000, at the Dexter Methodist Church with the Rev. Lois Merrifield officiating.
