Obituary	JOSEPH ROMEO VIGUE DEXTER - Joseph Romeo Vigue, 84, died June 4th at his home in Dexter. He was born March 20, 1914, in St. Come, Quebec, Canada, son of Peter and Elsie (Ganeau) Vigue. He was a Staff Sergeant with Company A 333rd Engineer Regiment during WWII. After the war, he was employed for 40 years as a spinner at Amos Abbott Woolen Mill in Dexter and later for 18 years with the Dexter Post Office, retiring in 1980. He was a Past Commander of the Poulliot-Seavey American Legion Post in Dexter and past Sergeant at Arms for Piscataquis County Council of the American Legion. He enjoyed gardening and was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Anita (Morancie) Vigue of Dexter; a brother, Wilfred Vigue of Dexter; a sister, Doris Caldwell of Hermon; several nieces and nephews. There were no public calling hours at his request. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 6th at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter with Rev. Antonio Amato officiating. Burial was at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
