Obituary	JUDY L. IRVIN DEXTER - Judy L. Irvin, 55, died March 7, 1998 at her home with family after a long struggle with cancer. She was born July 8, 1942 at Stetson, the daughter of Paul and Gertrude (Eells) Prescott. Judy worked at the Dexter Nursing Home for 15 years. She started her employment in the housekeeping department, but studied at the University of Maine, and became the assistant activity director at the nursing home. She found her work with the elderly very rewarding. In addition to her mother of Stetson, she is survived by her husband, Robert Irvin of Dexter; a daughter, Sunny "April" Burke of New Hampshire; granddaughters Jamie and Rebecca of New Hampshire, and Kirsty Bonito of Presque Isle; a step-son, Kenny Irvin of Dexter; a step-daughter, Amy Irvin of Vermont; her mother and father-in-law, John and Addie Irvin of Dexter; a brother, William Prescott of East Newport; three sisters, Dayle Prescott of Stetson, Gayle Annette of Greenville, and Norma Jean Matthews of California; several nieces and nephews. Friends called March 10 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter where funeral services were held March 11 with Rev. Kenneth Dale. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Pine Tree Hospice, 75 West Main St., Dover-Foxcroft 04426.
