Obituary	ALLEN “IKY” HAMILTON DEXTER - Allen W. Hamilton, 83, went to be with the Lord February 10, 1998. He was born February 23, 1914 at Hermon the son of Elmer and Nettie (Rose) Hamilton. He was a meat cutter by trade working many years at Goulette's IGA. He retired from Worthen's Market in Guilford. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite (Davis) Hamilton of Dexter; one daughter, Glenice and husband Robert Leavitt, Sr. of Garland; a step-son, Cecil and his wife Lois Reed of Dexter, a sister Beatrice Danico of Manchester, NH; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Virginia Dempsey of Dexter. Funeral services were held February 13 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter, with Rev. Ronald Libby officiating. Spring burial will be in Waugh Cemetery, Levant. Donations may be made in his memory to the Dexter Health Care Patient Activity Fund, 64 Park Street, Dexter ME 04930.
