AGNES M. FLOYD AUBURN - Agnes M. Floyd, 100, formerly of Berwick, died February 12, 1998 at the Auburn Nursing Home. She was born in Dexter October 13, 1897 the daughter of Freeland and Belle Leathers Gould. She attended Dexter Schools. On October 30, 1917 she married Marshall S. Floyd. He died February 24, 1970. Floyd was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of North Berwick, where she had served as a deaconess, was former treasurer of the Ladies Aid, and a member of the Plus Ultra Class. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Whitney and her husband Howard of Berwick; a son, Raymond M. Floyd and his wife Adalia of Danvers, MA; two sisters, Elizabeth Vickery of Auburn, Pauline Thompson and her husband Sumner of Corinna; a brother, Carl L. Gould and his wife Audrey of Auburn; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. A son Elwood A. Floyd died April 14, 1983.. Private funeral services were held at The Fortin Group-Plummer & Merrill Funeral Home, Auburn. Spring interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
