Obituary	EVELYN M. THOMPSON PITTSFIELD - Evelyn M. Thompson, 61, wife of the late Albert Thompson, died January 2l, 1998 at a Pittsfield hospital after a long illness. She was born July 6, 1936 in Corinna, the daughter of Coburn and Virginia (Lanpher) Cooley. She attended Dexter schools and had resided in Pittsfield for 19 years. In addition to her mother Virginia and step-father, Henry Andrews of Dexter, she is survived by a daughter, Shawna Bicknell and her husband Ralph of Gauiter, MI; three sons, Robert Gray of Dexter, Terry Thompson and David Sargent, both of Waterville; six grandchildren, Michael Bicknell, Allen Gray, Josh Nickerson, Marlina Gray, Nicole Bicknell, and Katie Scott; a brother, Rufus and his wife Janice of Ripley; two sisters, Elizabeth Richards and her husband Ted of Dexter, and Eleanor Beatham of Dexter; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Leon Sargent of Pittsfield. Evelyn was predeceased by her father and a nephew, Dale Beatham. Funeral services were held January 24, 1998 at Thompson Funeral Home, Pleasant Street, Corinna. Spring burial will be in the Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley.
