Obituary	DALTON E. BEATHAM DEXTER and GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Dalton E. Beatham, 65, the husband of Eleanor (Cooley) Beatham, died unexpectedly December 10, 1997, in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born October 26, 1932 in Monson, the son of Albert and Lettie (Conley) Beatham. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a former employee of the Town of Dexter, retiring in 1995. Surviving in addition to his wife of Dexter and Grand Rapids, MI are two daughters, Lisa Beatham of Dexter, and Debbie Deem and her husband John of Grand Rapids, MI; a son, Scott Beatham and Sherry of Ripley; eight grandchildren, Elijah, Noah, Tyler, Ryan, Samantha, Kendra, Daniel and Dylan; a brother, Randy of Maine and a sister, Bertha Chase of MA; several nieces and nephews. Dalton was predeceased by a son, Dale. Funeral services were held December 18, 1997 at Thompson Funeral Home, Pleasant Street Corinna with Maurice Neal of Dexter officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
