Obituary	ROLAND H. GARDINER DEXTER - Roland H. Gardiner, 84, died October 16, 1997 at a Dexter health care facility. He was born February 18, 1913 in Carmel. He worked as a mason in this area and lived in Ripley for 54 years before moving to Dexter in 1992. He is a former member of the Sno-Devils snowmobile club of Ripley and St. Albans. He is survived by his wife Dora (Davis) Gardiner of Dexter, a son and his wife Kenneth and Diane Gardiner of Corinna; two daughters and their husbands, Earlene and Jay Hanson of Winslow and Donna and Raymond Wallace of Dexter; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Burial in the West Ripley Cemetery.
