Obituary	FREIDA (ELSTON) CHASE DEXTER - Freida (Elston) Chase, 77, widow of Clifton E. Chase, died July 20, 1997 at Dexter Health Care. She was born August 2, 1919 at Etna the 7th daughter of Fred and Grace (Buzzell) Elston. She graduated from Newport High School, Class of 1937. She is survived by 2 sons, Edward and Dwayne both of Dexter; 2 daughters and their husbands, Charlotte and Clinton Leavitt of Dexter, and Charlene and Donald Burke, Jr. of South Portland; 7 grandchildren; one brother and wife, Fred and Doris Elston of Etna; 3 sisters, Annie and her husband Kenneth Philbrook of Etna, Geneva Elston of Gardiner, and Myrtle Hartford of Fitchburg, MA; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Kyle Chase of Dexter. Visitation will be private. Graveside funeral services were held July 23 at Greenlawn Rest Cemetery, Clinton, with Rev.
