Obituary	WILLLAM R. RICHARDSON DEXTER - William R. Richardson, 75, beloved husband and father, passed away July 19, 1997 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. He was born March 3, 1922 at Ripley, the son of Walter and Alice (Doyle) Richardson. He graduated from Dexter High School Class of 1940. During WWII he served 3½ years in the US Marine Corps as a radio operator. He worked in the Bath and South Portland Shipyards, and for 36 years was employed by Central Maine Power. He is survived by his wife, Frances Richardson of Dexter, a son, Paul Richardson of Utah; a daughter, Janice Gans of Bangor; a grandson, Jon Ferreira of MA; 3 sisters, Gertrude McKusick and Louise Deslauriers both of MA and Edith Esten of FL. He was predeceased by 3 sisters and a brother. At his request, there will be no visiting hours. Graveside services were held July 23 at the Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley.
