Obituary	ALTHEA GOULD DEXTER - Althea (Mower) Gould, 86, died July 1, 1997 at Dexter Healthcare. She was born December 26, 1909 at Dexter the daughter of Duane and Jessie (Roberts) Mower. She graduated from Dexter High School, Class of 1928, and attended Boston University. She was a member of Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge #18, the Ripley United Methodist Church and the church Ladies Aid. She will also be remembered as an accomplished musician. She retired as bookkeeper for Tempesta Motors in Dexter. She was predeceased by her son Paul, her husband Eldin, and brother Donald Mower. She is survived by one niece, Helen Faber of Waterbury, CT, and two grand nephews. Funeral services were held July 5 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter, with Pastor Richard Hanson officiating. Burial in Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ripley United Methodist Church.
