Obituary	RUTH (CURTY) (CONNELL) HARRINGTON DEXTER and FLORIDA – Ruth (Curty) (Connell) Harrington, 76, of 21048 Gertrude Avenue, Port Charlotte, Florida, died February 17, 1997, at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Dexter, Maine, on January 19, 1921, the daughter of Louis A. and Alida (Cloutier) Curty and had been a resident of Maine for most of her life. She moved to Florida in 1988. She was a graduate from St. Mary's School of Nursing, Lewiston, Maine, where she received her Registered Nurse Degree. She worked many years for Plummer Memorial Hospital, Dexter, Maine, and retired from the Department of Human Services, State of Maine in 1986, after 15 years of service. She was the widow of Fay Harrington who died in 1994. Family members include three sons Barry Connell of Salem, NH, Gary Connell of Erie, Pennsylvania and Kerry Connell of Saco, Maine; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren; a sister, Charlene Beedy of Brunswick, Maine. A memorial Mass was celebrated Friday, February 21, 1997 at St. Jude Church, Londonderry, NH. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH is in charge of arrangements.
