Obituary	DAVID R. FARRIS DEXTER - David R. Farris, 66, died December 28, 1996 at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft, following a brief illness. He was born October 29, 1930 in Yonkers, NY, the son of Gladys and Orman B. Farris. He is survived by three sons, Tory Farris, Dover-Foxcroft; Reason Farris, South Boston, Virginia; and David R. Farris Jr. of Holiday, Florida; two daughters, Lonna Drew, Corinna and Lynn Farris, Virginia; one brother, Roland Farris of Mahopac, NY and two sisters Merna Vega of Corinna and Phyllis McMahon of Pittsfield. One granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He is remembered as the steel guitarist on the Curly O'Brien Show and the Dana Thomas Show.
