Obituary	LORETTA W. McEWEN DEXTER - Loretta W. McEwen, 64, died March 31, 1996 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. She was born ,July 27, 1931 at Rochester, NTY, the daughter of Clinton "Cy" and Louise (Andrews) Woodard. She graduated from Guilford High School and was employed by Guilford Industries for 10 years. For the past 27 years, she has been employed at Dexter Shoe Company. She was a member of Shirley B. Carter Post VFW Auxiliary in Dexter. She is survived by three sons, William Cox, Jr. and David Greene, both of Dexter, and Merle Cox of Garland; two daughters, Jacqueline Wilcox of Dover-Foxcroft and Jean Conner of Parkman; four step- sons, Vincent, Jr. of Dover-Foxcroft, Kevin of Milo, Dean of Atkinson, and Scott of Glenburn; three brothers, Carl Woodard of Stillwater, Dale Woodard of Guilford, and Kenton Woodard of Bingham; three sisters, Marilyn Leighton and Lorraine Willey, both of Guilford, and Paula Philbrick of Prospect, VA; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 3 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter, with Rev. Peter Temple officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Cemetery, Guilford, later in the spring.
