Obituary	MARJORIE H. MOSLEY NEWPORT - Marjorie H. Mosley, 91, died February 28, 1996, at a Pittsfield nursing home. She was born April 12, 1904, at Rockport, the daughter of Albert and Helen (Eaton) Farr. On December 22,1920, she married John D. Mosley. He predeceased her in 1980. She was also predeceased by a son, Eugene, who died in World War II. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Newport, Nokomis Chapter #42 Order of Eastern Star, Barrows- Skidgel American Legion Auxiliary #105, and the Gold Star Mothers Association. She is survived by one son, Philip of Dexter; 4 daughters, Arlene Creech of Hamlet, North Carolina; Ruth Soucie and Marilyn Brooks, both of Augusta; and Janet Woodward of Newport; 1 sister, Evelyn Eddy of Dexter; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 64 Main Street, Newport, March 2, 1996. The Rev. William Stone officiated. Spring interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
