Obituary
Friends and relatives of Miss Ethel E. Tracy will be sorry to learn of her death at Morris, N.Y., November 26, 1946, at 9.00 A.M. at the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles A. Smith, at the age of 65. She was born at No. Amity, Me., February 20. 1881, the daughter of John M. and Hannah Libby Tracy. She united with the First Baptist Church of that town at an early age in life and was very faithful to her Christian living.. She was also a member of the W.C.T.U. and of the Grange. She met with an accident several years ago which caused her to be paralized. Being helpless she was tenderly cared for by her sister Wessie and neiee Mrs. Warren Kinney. She leaves to mourn her loss one brother Mr. Arthur J. Tracy and sister Mrs. Bina Williams of Dexter and Mrs. Charles Smith of Morris, N.Y. Also several neices and nephews-, an aunt and uncle and a number of cousins. The funeral was held Friday Nov. 29at 2 P.M. in the Baptist church Morris. Rev. H. B. Myers spoke very comforting words On that beautiful City where God dwells. The profusion of flowers from relatives and friends expressed the high esteem in which she was held. Courageous in life she was triamphant in death. She was laid at rest in Hilengton Cemetery, Morris, N.Y.
