Obituary	ALTHEA L. JOHNSON DEXTER - Althea L. Johnson, 83, died October 9, 1995 at her home in Dexter. She was born March 14, 1912 in Dexter, the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Strout) Littlefield. She worked for many years as bookkeeper for several of the local businesses including L. H. Hatch Prep School, Merrill Trust in Dexter, Eastern Gazette, Town of Dexter and Harl McKusick. She was a member of Sunshine Club, DAR, Rebeeca's, Ladies Aide, the First Universalist Church, the Dexter Grange and Pomona Grange and the Dexter Senior Extension. She is survived by her husband Paul Johnson of Dexter; one son Van Johnson and Helen Cole of Dexter; a nephew Kenneth Littlefield of MA and a niece Pauline Hatfield of CA; great niece and nephew, Brenda O'Toole and Allen Littlefield both of MA. She was predeceased by a brother Paul Littlefield. Friends called October 10 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St. Dexter. Funeral services were held October 11 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Alec Craig of the First Universalist Church officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
