Obituary	Albert L. Atkins Funeral services for Albert L. Atkins , 82, who died Friday morning after a long illness at his home on Pleasant street, were held from the home Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev. Gordon C. Reardon of the First Universalist church officiating. There was a profusion of flowers and a large attendance of relatives, friends and fraternal associates. Masonic services were conducted by Penobscot lodge, with C. H. Ansell as Master, and bearers were Charles Coy, Rufus Tillson, Harry Young and Kenneth Mower. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Attending the services as a representative of the Worthy Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter, 0. E. S. of Maine, was Past Grand Patron Charles Mills of Milo. Also present were Past Grand Matron Anne Mills of Milo, Past Grand Matron Alice Graves of Brownville Junction and District Deputy Grand Matron Marion Coy of Dexter. Others from out of' town included, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cushman of Bangor, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nutter, Miss Hazel Nutter and Mrs. Alice Atkins of Corinna. Mr. Atkins was born in Corinna May 4, 1861, the son of Joseph and Abbie Atkins. He was united in marriage to Lucy Blanche Nutter October 27, 1890 and for years made their home in Providence, R. I., where he was associated with the wholesale grocery firm of Brownell and Field Company fo that city, as buyer. After returning to Maine because of ill health, he remained with the same firm as a salesman until his retirement in 1925. Fraternally he was much interested and active in the Masonic lodges, being a past master of Penobscot lodge, F. and A. M., a past high priest of St. Joseph's Royal Arch Chapter, a past patron of Wassookeag chapter, 0. E. S. and past worthy grand patron of the Grand Chapter of Eastern Star of Maine. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Mower of Dexter; a niece, Mrs. Evelyn Cushman of Bangor and a nephew, Albert N. Atkins of Corinna.
