Obituary	FLOREDA M. WHALEN DEXTER - Floreda Mary Whalen, 91, died unexpectedly November 2, 1994 at her Forest Street residence. She was born January 9, 1903 at Dexter, the daughter of Joseph and Lucy (Clukey) Mountain. She graduated from Dexter High School, Class of 1921. She was a bank teller at Merrill Trust Company in Dexter until her marriage to Dr. Henry Whalen in 1925. He predeceased her in 1948. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter and was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Dexter Sunshine Club. She is survived by two sons, Robert Whalen of Millinocket, and Henry “'Mickey" Whalen of Dexter; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Brown. Friends called November 3 at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated November 4 at St. Anne's Church, Dexter, with Rev. Antonio Amato officiating. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
