Obituary
Miss Laura A. Sanborn died at Stockton Springs on October 28, 1946 at the age of 91 years, where she has been cared for at the home of Mrs. Seekins for the past three years. She was the daughter of Enoch and Philena Parkman Sanborn and has always lived at the old home on the South Ridge, Dexter, as long as she was able to care for herself. A members of Dexter Grange, Rebecca Lodge and the South Ridge Ladies Social Club. She was the oldest living member of the Free Baptist Church of Dexter. Always ready to help others in her community in times of sickness or death, she will be kindly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by several cousins and second cousins. Alvin Sanborn, living in France; Charles Q. Davis of Dexter; Herbert Parkman of Newport; Frank Brooks of Corinna; Elva Clement of Calais. The funeral was held at the Buxton Funeral Parlors in Corinna on Wednesday at 2 P. M., October 30th, Rev. F. L. Niles officiating. There was a profusion of flowers.
