Obituary	HARLAN D. POMROY DEXTER - Harlan D. Pomroy, 46, died unexpectedly August 1, 1994 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born November 29, 1947 at Dexter the son of Jerome and Arlene (Hatch) Pomroy. He graduated from Dexter High School, Class of 1962, and served in Vietnam in the Army. He was employed at Dexter Shoe Company for 24 years. He was an avid sportsman and beano player. In addition to his mother, he survived by his wife Jane (Doughty) Pomroy, both of Dexter; 1 son, Lance Corporal Christopher Rivers of Camp Pendleton, CA; 2 daughters, Lurinda and her husband Christopher Choiniere of Dover-Foxcroft, and Elizabeth Rivers of Dexter; one brother Milton Pomroy of Dexter; 3 sisters, Ardith Childs of Brunswick, Nancy Jackson of Corinna, and Davena Reed of Dexter; 2 grandchildren, Justin and Christian Choiniere; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and brother Ronald. Friends called Thursday, August 4, 1994 at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter, where funeral services were held Friday, August 5, with Rev. Jackson Benson officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
