Obituary	WILMONT IRA KENNEDY DEXTER - Wilmont Ira Kennedy, 31, died April 22, 1994 at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born March 25, 1963 in Presque Isle, the son of Ira and Leta Kennedy. He worked as a farmer for several years and later for Dexter Shoe Co. in Dexter. He was an avid snowmobiler and loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his wife Mary (Sleight) Kennedy of Dexter; two step children Kimberly Polichak of Dexter and Troy Nightingale of Garland; two children Amber and James Shaw of Mars Hill; Foster parents Dan and Carolyn Cummings of Dover-Foxcroft; his father Ira Kennedy of Easton; five brothers, John Faggiole and James Kennedy both of Easton, Joel Kennedy of Caribou, Raymond Kennedy of N. Carolina, and Al (Butch) Kinney of Pensacola; two sisters Cindy Johnson of Dover- Foxcroft and Lisa Cousins of Sangerville; a grandson Kyle Nightingale of Garland; foster grandparents Mary and Morrison Cummings of Easton; a special friend Butch Monarca of Dexter; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother in 1985. Friends called at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home at 238 Main St., Dexter where funeral services were held with Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
