Obituary	CLATUS JOSEPH CLUKEY DEXTER - Clatus Joseph Clukey, 82, died February 12, 1994 at a Dexter Nursing Home. He was born July 17, 1911 in Dexter, son of Joseph and Violet (Goulette) Clukey. He worked for 43 years for Amos Abbott Woolen Mill retiring as an overseer of the weave room. He will be remembered as an area carpenter; communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church and 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. He also served for two terms on the Board of Directors for SAD 46. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanette (Chabot) Clukey of Dexter; six sons, Wayne of Dexter, John of Stafford Springs, CT, Joseph of Davie, FL, Jerry and Neil both of Dexter and James of Ripley; three daughters, Sandra Russell and Barbara Laferriere both of Dexter and Nancy Roy of Delray Beach, FL; a brother, Loren of Dexter; two sisters, Lunette Robichaud and Faustina Lessard both of Dexter; 23 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters, Adrian Ambrose, Laurette Dyer, Matilda Chabot and Leatrice Poirier. Calling hours were held February 13 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home 238 Main St. Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated February 14 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter with Rev Antonio Amato officiating. Spring burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
