Obituary	VINCENT F McEWEN DEXTER - Vincent F. McEwen, 58, died January 12, 1994 at EMMC in Bangor following a long illness. He was born January 3, 1940 in Guilford, son of the late Austin Leo McEwen and Mildred (Russell) McEwen formerly of Guilford who now resides in Skowhegan. He attended Guilford schools receiving his diploma by attending night classes. He worked for many years for his brother-in-law, the late Guy Patterson of Norridgewock, and for Dexter Shoe. His last place of employment was for Hardwood Products Co. of Guilford. He is survived by his wife Loretta (Woodard) McEwen of Dexter; four sons, Vincent Jr., of Dexter, Kevin of Parkman, Dean of Atkinson and Scott of Glenburn; three stepsons, William Cox Jr. and David Greene both of Dexter and Merle Cox of Garland; two stepdaughters, Jaqueline Wilcox of Dover-Foxcroft and Jean Conner of Parkman; two brothers, Pete of Guilford and Dermeth of Anderson, NC; three sisters, Diana Patterson, Smallman and Dot Nemer of Skowhegan and Sandra Smith of Exeter; 22 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother James of Mary Ester, FL and a granddaughter Vana. Friends called January 14 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services were held January 15 at the funeral home with Rev. Peter Temple officiating. Spring burial will be in the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford.
