Obituary	ADDIE M. GORDON RIPLEY - Addie M. Gordon, 73, died August 19, 1993 at a Dexter nursing home. She was born August 10, 1920 in Portland, daughter of Cecil and Florence (Smart) Staples Sr. She worked for may years for the Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna and was a member of the Ripley Grange. She is survived by two brothers, Robert Staples of Dexter, and Cecil Staples Jr. of Pittsfield; a foster brother, Errol Bemis of Dexter; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Gordon, and a daughter, Gloria. Friends called August 20 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services were conducted August 21 by Rev. Harold Wheeler. Burial was in Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
