Obituary	DENNIS E. GIFFORD DEXTER - Dennis E. Gifford, 58, died July 16, 1993, at a Bangor hospital following a long illness. He was born in Sangerville, February 21, 1935, son of George and Althea (Clukey) Gifford. He lived in Connecticut for many years before returning to the Maine he loved two years ago, due to declining health. He traveled extensively during his lifetime setting up heavy machinery both in this country and abroad. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Detroit Snowmobile Club. He is survived by his parents of Dexter, his fiance Patricia Yanke of Dexter, two sons, Mark Gifford of Ripley, and Thomas Gifford of CT; a daughter, Kimberly Keisling of MA; a brother, Frederick Gifford of Dexter and a sister, Rosemary Eliu of NC; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated July 20 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. Burial was in the Village Cemetery in Sangerville. Arrangements by Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
