Obituary	PHILLIP G. NELSON ST. ALBANS -Phillip G. Nelson, 71, died May 29, 1993, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born June 11, 1921, in St. Albans, the son of Burnes and Zala (Libby) Nelson. In his early years Phillip was a dairy farmer with milk routes in Dexter, St. Albans and Hartland. He also worked for Fay Scott Machine Shop and did carpentry work, building many houses in the local area. In later years he did custom sawing. He had been a member of the St. Albans Grange and was a member of the Penobscot Masonic Lodge #39 in Dexter. Special interests included camping and ballroom dancing. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Muriel (Crocker) Nelson of St. Albans; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Carmen Nelson of Dexter and a son Darrell Nelson of Newport; four grandchildren Lori Nelson Dunivan of Plymouth, Peter Nelson of Dexter, Lynn (Nelson) Bennett of Winthrop and Scott Nelson of Newport; a sister Katherine Boulier of Holyoke, MA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a twin sister Phyllis Wiers and a daughter Rita Elaine. Calling hours were held May 30 at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter, during which time a Masonic service was conducted by the Penobscot Masonic Lodge #39. Funeral services were held Monday, May 31, at the funeral home with the Rev. Judson Stone officiating. Burial was in Crocker Cemetery in St. Albans.
