Obituary	THOMAS M. PEAKES JR. DEXTER - Thomas M. Peakes Jr., 62, died unexpectedly April 4, 1993, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born August 14, 1930 at St. Albans, the son of Thomas and Phyllis (Pratt) Peakes Sr. Most of his life was spent in California, but he returned to Dexter in 1986 to live with his brother and family, James and Julie Peakes. He enjoyed attending the Abbot Learning and Labor Center and was especially proud to have participated several times in the Special Olympics. He was predeceased by his father and mother; and his sister, Elizabeth Houle. He is survived by two brothers, James Peakes of Dexter and John Peakes of Mojave, CA; one sister, Mary Graef of Dexter; many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held April 7 at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Marcel Robitaille officiating. Spring interment will be in the family lot, Maloon Cemetery, St. Albans. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Charlotte White-Abbot Learning and Labor Center or to the Maine Special Olympics.
