Obituary	THELMA F. BURNS DEXTER - Thelma F. Burns, 80, died November 30, 1989 at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. She was born May 28, 1909 in Cambridge, the daughter of Ralph and Edna (Watson) Bailey. She graduated from Dexter High School and was a longtime member of the Cambridge Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, George Burns of Dexter; one son, Barry Chadbourne of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Ann Person of Rocky Hill, Conn.; two brothers, Philip Bailey of California and Merle Watson of Brewer; seven sisters, Althea Folsom of Dexter, Mildred Ayer of Bangor, Esther Gouse of New Jersey, Shirley Chadbourne of St. Petersburg, Fla., Joyce Bragg of Brewer, Jackie Miller of Massachusetts and Janice Evans of Rhode Island; four granddaughters, Gaynelle Person, Lori Person, Carrie Ann Chadbourne and Anna Marie Chadbourne; one grandson, Jarid Chadbourne, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held December 4 at the Cambridge Baptist Church, with Pastor John Johnston officiating. Visiting hours were held December 3 at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter. Spring burial will be in Cambridge Memorial Cemetery. Those who wish may make contributions in her memory to the Cambridge Baptist Church.
