Obituary	EMMA M. WITHEE DEXTER - Emma Mae Withee, 82, died November 6, 1989, after a long illness. She was born April 19, 1907 at Exeter, the daughter of Walter and Alice (Kaizer) Eastman. Her husband, Wallace Withee Sr., predeceased her in 1970. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She lived at Sanfield Living Center Nursing Home for the past three years, where she was well-cared for and thought of She is survived by one son, Wallace Withee of Bangor; two daughters, Velma Melvin and Lois Woodbury; one son-in-law Maynard Woodbury, all of Dexter; two brothers, Carl Eastman of Dexter and Raymond Eastman of Exeter; 11 grandchildren, including Elizabeth Paradis of Old Saybrook, Conn., and Michael Woodbury of Dexter, who were raised by their grandmother; 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great- grandchildren. Friends called from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on November 8 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services were held November 9 at Dexter Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Ronald Marr officiating. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
