Obituary	EVELYN H. BENSON DEXTER - Evelyn Marie (Ham) Benson, 88, died November 1, 1989, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital, after a brief illness. She was born April 4, 1901 in Winthrop, Mass., the daughter of William and Jean (Black) Ham. She graduated from Winthrop High School and attended Winthrop Business College. On October 8, 1927, she married Earle Walker Benson. She was a member of the Episcopal Church Women and the Wassookeag Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William (Jean-Marie) Foster of Dexter; and a grandson, James of Derry, N.H. Friends called at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, on November 2. Funeral services were held at the funeral home on November 3, with Rev. Thomas E. Benson, cousin of the deceased, officiating. Donations may be made in her memory to Mayo Regional Hospital, and may be left at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home.
