VICTOR E. COOK DEXTER - Victor E. Cook, 87, died October 9, 1989, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born in Athens, February 21, 1902, the son of Ernest and Eliza (Fox) Cook. He was married to Leona Allen of Hampstead, N.H., who died November 5, 1986. He lived in Athens for the first half of his life, then while working for Central Maine Power Company, was transferred to Dexter, retiring after 22 years of service. He was past master of the Athens Grange. He retired from the Penobscot Lodge of Masons via a demit of good standing. He was a member of the First Free Baptist Church of Dexter. He is survived by three sons and four daughters, Virginia McKenny of Skowhegan, Norman Cook of East Millinocket, Richard Cook of Canyon Lake, Texas; Margaret LaFlamme of Dexter, Eleanor Hart of Brewer, Paul Cook of Dexter and Ruth MacDougall of Dexter; a sister, Thelma E. Cook; 21 grandchildren, several great-grand- children and great-great-grandchildren. Visiting hours were held October 10 at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter. Funeral services were held October 11 at the First Free Baptist Church, Dexter, with Pastor Harold Wheeler officiating. Burial was in Mount Rest Cemetery, Athens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the memorial fund of the First Free Baptist Church, care of Linda Wilbur, 83 Pine Street, Dexter.
