Obituary	EARL C. WOODBURY SR. DEXTER - Earl Chester Woodbury Sr., 69, died October 11, 1989 at his Dexter residence after a long illness. He was born December 25, 1919, at Dexter, the son of William and Hannah (Curtis) Woodbury. He attended Dexter schools and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed with the Dexter Highway Department for 18 years, retiring due to ill health. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Ann (Norwood) Woodbury of Waterville; four sons, Earl Jr. of Orono, Christopher Ladd of England, and Michael and Lawrence, both of Dexter; three daughters, Elizabeth Paradis of Saybrook, Conn., Pamela Thompson of Dexter, Victoria Manning of Etna; three brothers, Maynard, Rodney and William, all of Dexter; two sisters, Arlene Goldsmith and Margaret Woodard, both of Corinna; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Friends called on October 13 at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, where funeral services were held on October 14 with Rev. Goldsmith officiating. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
