Obituary	STEVEN MARIO FOSSA, D.M.D. BREWER and DEXTER - Steven M. Fossa, 33, died August 1, 1989, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Bangor, May 2, 1956, the son of James and Ernestine (Carbone) Fossa. He graduated from Dexter Regional High School, having distinguished himself in football, basketball and track. During his teen-age and college years, he assisted his late father and brother in operating his family's business, Fossa's on Main St. He attended Maine Maritime Academy, graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, and practiced for a year as a community and hospital pharmacist in Maine and Florida. He graduated from the Tufts School of Dental Medicine, receiving the distinguished American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award. He was a member of both the Maine Dental Association and the American Dental Association, and had an active dental practice in Brewer where he specialized in preventive, restorative and children's dentistry. He also taught pharmaceutical courses in the dental hygienist program at Bangor Community College. He is survived by his wife, Lorriann (Prickett) Fossa of Brewer; his mother of Dexter; one brother, James Jr. of Waterville; one sister, Maria Goucher of Beverly, Mass.; nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter, with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Donations may be made to his memory to the American Cancer Society, Maine Division Inc., 52 Federal St., Brunswick, Me. 04011. Arrangements were made by Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
