Obituary	LAURA B. CHAPMAN DEXTER - Laura B. Chapman, 83, wife of the late Rollins M. Chapman, died December 1, 1992, at a Dexter nursing home after a long illness. She was born August 10, 1909 in St. Albans, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Cooley) Bryant. She attended St. Albans schools, and had resided in Dexter since 1966. She had been employed as a weaver at the Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna for 36 years, retiring in 1976 because of ill health. She is survived by two sons, Arthur of Dexter and Edward of Pittsfield; a daughter, Mary Sevey of Ripley; a brother, Cedric Bryant of Newport; seven grandchildren; four great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held December 2 at Thompson Funeral Home, Corinna. Burial was in Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley. Those who wish may make donations to a charity of their choice.
